DEADCHOVSKY: THE LEGEND

CHAPTER I: THE GENESIS

Everything began with Igor's birth. Igor... who is he? Where does he come from? No one knows. He forgot all this anyway. And trying to discover it would be equal to founder in the dementia where he eternally dwells. During a psychanalytic experience, he learns that both of his cerebral hemispheres have a harsh anomaly: the left has been identified under the name "Lois Jon Slut", and the right under "Afterglauk". One morning, after drinking a bottle of cheap vodka, Igor finds an odd inscription on his breast: deadchovsky. "What the hell is this??" he said in his mother tongue (after a serious study, this language could be related to ancient Finno-Ugric or maybe old Slavonic). The situation is becoming intolerable; Igor chooses to call the power of his subconscious. Thanks to a technical achievement (a full bottle of Zubrowka), he reaches the materialisation of the cerebral hemisphere into defunct bodies by the means of soul transmigration, that he learned in a gloomy squat of Hungary. Both are now ready to escape notice in the modern world...

CHAPTER II: THE EXODUS (long and boring...)

The guys are very quickly integrated in the alternative rock band Trespass. Lois Jon Slut buys a guitar and Afterglauk an one-string bass. But two years later, everything falls apart. Lois Jon Slut, whose former job was to analyse the material brain skills of Igor, leaves the band. But he had the time to initiate the other members to the delights of Vodka. Afterglauk decides to follow him for a new saga eventhough he stays in Trespass (the famous keyboarder of the band corrupting him with some cases of cheap vodka, but surely not enough because he will leave the band one year later, but maybe if he gives him more... anyway...).

Lois Jon Slut chooses to cross the desert, alone with his guitar and some vodka at knockdown price. He walked hundred and hundred miles and miraculously found an oasis. He suddenly heard a whisper coming from nowhere: "Who are thou foreign outsider and what are thou doing so far away from thy home?".

- My name is Lois Jon Slut and I come from... well...from...from Trespass... something like that... And who are thou?

- People call me Murmur and I come from Sleeping Children... or anything else... I just remember having a dispute with a strange being with a mohawk... a corncob I think...

- I've got a guitar!

- I've got a voice, a keyboard... and a guitar as well!

- Join me and we shall be powerfull! I know a good bass, it could help us.

- Let's go!

They came back to the modern civilisation, and found Afterglauk thanks to a reality show. A new musical project called Splean was born. But Lois Jon Slut, still unable to do something else but managing with the analytic function of Igor's brain, leaves the project and some bottles of vodka behind him. Afterglauk follows him but stays with Murmur in the psychedelic rock/coldwave band Splean, Murmur corrupting him with some bottles of strong rhum.

CHAPTER III: IGOR'S REBIRTH (the age of decadence)

Feasting around the Absolute (Vodka), Afterglauk and Lois Jon Slut suddenly remember their primal function: through an alchemy based upon aequilibrium, they have to make Igor's brain work, a bit like the positive and negative pole of a battery, but you already learned that at school. The project starts as a joke: they record a song and send it to the death-rock superstars Sleeping Children, saying that the Hungarian singer wants to replace the talentuous Murmur. But the music really killed. For an unknown reason, they choose the name Deadchovsky in order to perform the most decadent and delirious batcave music ever. Deadchovsky recruted two members: Albator (Malaise Rouge, ex Regard, ex LSD) and The Bab (the soul of Malaise Rouge and Regard) on the drums and keyboard. Empty bottles, Neva LP's worn by rubbing, finally gave birth to some recorded tracks . Lois Jon Slut's cat springs on the effect board and creates a new sound. Alea jacta est! Igor sinks into dementia once again...

A first album called "Decadence Revolution", some gigs with great bands such as Trespass, Sleeping Children, Wallenberg, Fallen Apart, Jaquy Bitch or The Vanishing: Igor is on the way!

In April of the year 3005, Igor looses Le Bab and Albator somewhere in the cosmic infinity. But while preaching in a garbage waste, Igor happily finds two new members on the floor: Hellebore on the keyboard (ex-Vertigo Smile) and Braen X. Divarre on the drums (Alternative Zero, ex-Trespass).

CHAPTER IV: THE CONCEPT (every bands needs one...)

Deadchovsky describe themselves as decadent, psychotic, disturbing. Their music may remind Neva, Violet Stigmata, Bauhaus, Joy Division, Christian Death, Danse Society, Cinema Strange, Sopor Aeternus and many others. The lyrics deal with dementia, mental illnesses, nightmares, despair, mysticism, sex, drug, alcool, the other side of the mirror and the hate of the old communist regim from Eastern Europe.

Deadchovsky's first LP "Decadence Revolution" is out since October 22nd through Manic depression Records. Igor is still looking for every kind of contact (venues, distributors, press, friends, cool bands...) and every bottle of vodka they have not tasted.
